I appreciated hearing from the AdventHealth team about their plans for continued growth and expansion, the needs they’re seeing in our communities, and some of the policy challenges that can stand in the way.

These firsthand conversations are important as we work to make sure Coloradans have access to quality care close to home.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to Morgan Community College!

I enjoyed touring campus, meeting with leadership, and learning more about the opportunities MCC is creating for students throughout northeastern Colorado.

It’s always good to see firsthand how our local colleges are preparing students for successful careers and helping meet the workforce needs of our communities.

Water is Colorado’s most precious resource, and protecting it is critical to the future of our communities, agriculture, and way of life.

I appreciated joining the Colorado Water Congress Summer Conference to speak directly to water leaders from across the state to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead. Colorado’s water belongs to Colorado, and I’ll continue fighting to protect it for the people, farms, ranches, and communities that depend on it.

I recently spent the day at the incredible Hungenberg Produce farm in Greeley, Colorado.

This historic, family-owned 4,000-acre operation has been growing fresh vegetables for over a century and it’s still run by the same multi-generational family. Their specialty? Some of the best carrots you’ll ever taste.

I was honored to present Specialist Joel O’Connor with his long-overdue Purple Heart.

Wounded in combat in Iraq on July 4, 2005, this Colorado hero waited over 20 years for the medal he earned under fire.

Quiet courage. Steadfast service. Finally recognized.

Thank you, Joel. A grateful nation sees you.

I also loved seeing Specialist O’Conner wonderful wife Natalie alongside him and their three daughters Liberty, Hope, and Honor, names that beautifully reflect the values he fought to defend and the heritage they now carry forward.

I really enjoyed this behind-the-scenes look at Fagerberg Produce in Eaton!

The Fagerberg family has grown onions in Colorado since the 1940s, supplying customers locally and nationwide.

Great to see the hard work, innovation, and generations of experience that bring Colorado-grown products from farm to table.
