Yoga and meditation are clinically tested for reducing stress and improving health. Enjoy a slower-paced yoga practice with simple poses that are easy and work like magic. Relieve back, neck and shoulder pain. Improve mobility, vitality and stamina.
Learn how to relax — staying calm and centered even amidst the challenges that we face these days. Enjoy an easy way to sit and meditate. Quiet your mind and experience a deep sense of peace that continues on in your life.

Phil Milgrom co-directs The Centered Place in Warren, MA. He is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and has been teaching for over 50 years.

This event is sponsored by the Warren Public Library, with a grant from the Warren Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Join us in ONE WEEK, on Thursday, September 4th at 6:30pm in the Warren Public Library, for Dr. Sally Snowman's presentation on Boston Light!

Boston Light – the first established Light Station in colonial America – began lighting the way for safe navigation into the fledging maritime port of Boston in 1716. Its notoriety as the last manned Coast Guard Light Station in the country came to a close with the retirement of Sally Snowman, its 70th keeper, in 2023. Join Sally and her husband, Jay Thomson, for a presentation on Boston Light’s 307 years of history and anecdotes of Sally’s experiences as a 21st Century Keeper.

There is limited space inside the library, so we ask that you please call or email the library at (413) 436-7690 or [email protected] to register.
