S. W. Johnson Engine Co. # 2 members, Warren Hochlowski , John Terralavoro, Anthony Gallucci Sr., and Rick Fusaro attended the Memorial Day ceremonies at the Wappingers VFW Post 5913 today. VFW Post 5913 will be celebrating their 80 anniversary this year.

We are all deeply saddened by the loss of our brother Mark Scianna. Former Chief of Department, Chief Scianna served the Village of Wappingers Falls for just over 40 years as a volunteer firefighter and also served with IBM Poughkeepsie Emergency Control , the Fairview Fire District, and the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department NY Local 596. Linda, Brooke, and Heather we are so very sorry. We will all miss him dearly. He was a great friend....
