Madison County Office of Emergency Management is hiring 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘀!

𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲): $31.20/hour with $1.25/hour shift differential
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Madison County, NY

⏰ 24 Hour and 12 hour shifts
🩺 County Health Insurance
🏝️ New York State Retirement

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼:
• Provide advanced life support care in prehospital settings.
• Perform emergency diagnostics and treatments under NYS Collaborative and Medical Director protocols.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
✅ Current NYS EMT-Paramedic certification (must remain valid).
✅ Valid NYS driver’s license at the time of application and throughout employment.

🎉 today marks 3 years of service for Madison County EMS 🎉
We are proud to say that it’s been three years since we started serving Madison County. Three years has gone by in a flash, and we are still going strong. We currently have three stations serving the Town of Sullivan, the Town of Hamilton, the Town of DeRuyter, parts of the Town of Lebanon and North Brookfield. We have a fleet of 8 ambulances and three certified fly cars.
Thank you to our dedicated employees who make up our team to serve Madison County!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce a profound loss to the EMS community, and our agency. Nelson, or as we all called him “Nelly”, was a one of a kind man. Nelly was dedicated to the profession, cared for for people endlessly, lit up the room when he walked in, and was one of the most fierce friends/co-worker/provider/driver we could have asked for. We will hold Nelson’s memory close to our heart’s forever. Thank you for your service Nelson, we love you. ❤️🚑

Our agency recently received some tough news about our friend and teammate, Nelson. While this journey won’t be easy, one thing is certain he won’t be facing it alone.
Nelson has always shown strength, kindness, and dedication that inspires everyone around him. Now, it’s our turn to show that same strength and support right back.

Gratitude from the Ground Up 🌽🚑

Last night , our crew was humbled to receive a generous donation of most of this fresh produce from The Farms of ADL, during their trip to Tuesdays in the park, on the village green in Chittenango. The gift came from a grateful family we were privileged to assist recently.

The owner shared that thanks to the quick response and compassionate care provided by our team, this was his heartfelt way of saying “thank you.”

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We’re honored to serve this incredible community and deeply touched by the kindness and support shown to our first responders.

From all of us at Madison County EMS , thank you for the bounty—and the reminder that in this job, it’s not just lives we touch, but hearts too. 💙

🎉 We are so excited to congratulate two of our newest Paramedics!! 🎉
JT and Rob have spend the last 9 months in the MVHS Paramedic program, and have both successfully completed the course and passed their state exam! 🎊
We are very proud of the hard work they have both put into their education and cant wait to see them put that knowledge to use in the field!
