Friday is our last day of school. Students are dismissed at 12:29.

8th grade graduation will be next Wednesday, June 3rd at 3:10 in the cafeteria.

Here will be a mandatory meeting/practice for high school Cheer on Tuesday 3:15-4:45

Shop Spotlight: Hayden Ullrich will be graduating from WJSH and pursuing a career that shadows his passion for off-road motorsports. He plans to attend trade school at NIC in the fall to further his skills and education. Before he begins that, he has a summer job lined up at the Golden Chest mine to enhance his fabrication and welding skills. Hayden has taken my shop class every year and demonstrates skills well beyond his age. This year, Hayden came up with the idea to design and build a rock crawler remote control car. His problem-solving skills and critical thinking were crucial to his success. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Hayden, and hopefully one day I can watch him compete in the King of the Hammers off-road event, or maybe the Baja 1000. The sky is the limit, Hayden!
