Come meet the Mayor of College Place! Norma is a Latina who is compassionate and determined to do well for our communities. She’s originally from El Paso Texas, where her ancestors settled after immigrating from Mexico in the 1900’s. She has been a CEO, Executive Vice-President, President, COO, Director, and Department Manager throughout her career. Today, as Mayor, she continues to impact those around her.

Hope you can join us this evening to celebrate this remarkable woman!

Starts at 6pm at the Public Schools Admin Building.

Dolores Huerta is one of the most influential labor activists of the 20th century and a leader of the Chicano civil rights movement. She worked to elect more Latinos and women to political office and has supported women’s issues. She was Co-founder of the United Farm Workers Association and she fought for unemployment and healthcare benefits for agricultural workers.

Don’t miss this!! This is a great opportunity to learn about our history, a Latina woman, who’s accomplishments have only supported many of our families.

Mañana, Diciembre 22, 2022 es el sorteo de la cena Navideña! Este evento es presentado por negocios locales y miembros de la comunidad comprometidos a ayudar a otros en esta temporada Navideña. Este evento está abierto a cualquier persona que enfrente problemas de escasos de alimentos en esta temporada. Cada bolsa tiene los elementos básicos para preparar una cena festiva para una familia de 4. Comparta y ayúdenos a correr la voz. Comienza a las 5:30 pm en 1617 E Alder St., Walla Walla. Disponible hasta la última bolsa y por orden de llegada.
