Jack and Jill of America is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 to 19, dedicated to nurturing future leaders by supporting children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. The Waco chapter was chartered in the Fall of 1955 when a group of sixteen interested mothers saw the need for the Waco Community to be enhanced by an organiz

ation which helped to unify the Black family and promote cultural, civic, religious and educational activities for Black youth. In the fall of 1956, one year later, the Waco Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated had its birth.

Today, we honor and celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and service of women veterans.

A special salute to the women veterans who are also our cherished mothers of Jack and Jill of America. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to serving our nation, strengthening your families, and investing in the next generation of leaders. Your example of excellence, resilience, and service continues to inspire our children and our community.

Your service did not end when you took off the uniform. The leadership, sacrifice, and dedication you demonstrate every day leave a lasting impact on those around you.

WE HONOR. WE REMEMBER

The Waco Central Texas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. takes this moment to pause and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country.

Their sacrifice was not in vain and their memory will never be forgotten. Today we do not just celebrate a holiday — we bow our heads in gratitude for the freedom we enjoy because of their courage, their commitment, and their unwavering love for this nation.

To every family who has ever received a folded flag — we honor your loved one today and every day. May we never forget. 🇺🇸✨

It has been a honor to serve as Waco Central Texas Chapter President for the past two terms. As I pass the gavel on, I look back at found memories of working, playing and living together the Jack and Jill way. From Chapter Meetings and Program initiatives, to Regional and National conferences I enjoyed serving and giving my time, talents and treasure.

Shining a spotlight on the quietly brilliant Kaden Dwayne Montgomery! Initiated in 2023, Kaden has shown us that greatness doesn't always roar — sometimes it wins eSports championships, designs award-winning logos, earns welding certifications, works with an outstanding reputation, serves in Kappa League, and pours love into being a devoted big brother to Kai. Congratulations to our Teen Corresponding Secretary and remarkable scholar, Lauryn Alise Perkins! Initiated in 2024, Lauryn has made her mark in a powerful way — earning multiple prestigious scholarships including two NAACP scholarships, the Legacy Scholarship, a Theta Psi Upsilon Sorority scholarship, and the Ecolia A. Congratulations to the one and only Johnny R. Neal III — known and loved by all as Tre! Initiated in 2021, Tre has served as our past Teen Vice President, served as a page at Teen Conference, graduated with honors, entered college as a junior, was crowned both Homecoming King AND Prom King, mentored others, volunteered in his community, and even creates beautiful woodwork. We are so proud to celebrate our Teen Recording Secretary, Kaileigh Anise Fant — our forever sunshine, known as Kai! Initiated in 2024, Kai has been lighting up every room since the very beginning. Before her junior year, she made a bold decision to step out of her shell, grow as a leader, and push past her shyness — and she did EXACTLY that and then some! Kai will attend Langston University to study Broadcast Journalism, and we already know she is going to captivate every room and every audience. The world is ready for you, Kai! 🌟🎤📰
