VBVRS operates two independent rescue stations every hour of every day: Station 14, located at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and Station 8, located off of Old Donation Parkway in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach.

🚑💚 1426 Is Getting Ready for Its Next Chapter! 💚🚑

Last night, our Rescue 14 crews took the time to prepare 1426 for its upcoming remount. That meant pulling all of our personal equipment and supplies from the truck, getting everything organized, and making sure 1426 is ready for the trip to Ohio.

There’s a lot that goes into keeping an ambulance ready to serve our community, and tonight was a great reminder that volunteering isn’t just about answering the calls — it’s about taking care of the equipment, supporting the squad, and doing whatever needs to be done to keep our neighbors safe.

1426 will be heading north for its remount, and we can’t wait to see it return refreshed, renewed, and ready for many more years of serving Virginia Beach. 🚑💚

Until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best:

🚑💚 Neighbors Saving Neighbors — Wherever the Need Is. 💚🚑

Tonight, our Rescue 14 crews aren’t just sitting in our own ambulances. Our volunteer providers are stepping up and riding in other ambulances throughout the City of Virginia Beach, helping make sure our community has the coverage it needs when the call comes.

This is what volunteering is all about. It’s about showing up, filling the need, supporting our fellow providers, and taking care of our neighbors — wherever we’re needed.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Rescue 14 providers and the dedication they continue to show to Virginia Beach. 💚

Thank you for answering the call. Thank you for stepping up. Thank you for being there.
