Thank you Dana Bell for sending me this picture! I sure had a great time representing the Vinita Masonic Lodge #5 as a member of our education and scholarship committee at this week's Ketchum scholarship award assembly! Our Vinita Lodge provides scholarships to schools in Craig County including Ketchum, Bluejacket, Welch and Vinita. We are looking forward to presenting multiple scholarships in Vinita this coming Tuesday!

One of the greatest thrills that I get being the social media manager as a board member for the Vinita Day Center is creating amazing posts like this! Thank you Northeast Electric for supporting the Vinita Day Center nestled in the heart of downtown of Vinita Ward 3!

Have you ever wondered how you can make a real difference right here in our community?

The Vinita Day Center is always looking for caring hearts and helping hands—and there are so many ways to get involved!

Whether you have time to volunteer, want to donate food, laundry supplies, personal hygiene items, or even fun bingo prizes… every little bit makes a BIG impact in the lives of those we serve ❤️

It doesn’t take much to change someone’s day—or even their life.

📞 Just give the Day Center a call and find out how YOU can help today!

Together, we can continue making Vinita a stronger, more compassionate community.

💙 COMMUNITY SUPPORT IN ACTION! 💙

The Vinita Day Center is incredibly grateful to receive a generous $4,000 donation from Operation Round Up through Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative!

Pictured is Erin Hill with Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, along with board members Sharon Walker, Diane Hillegass, and Peter Rausch, presenting this meaningful contribution.

This donation will go directly toward supporting our mission—providing meals, resources, and hope to those who need it most right here in our community. ❤️

It’s because of programs like Operation Round Up and the generosity of people who participate that we are able to continue making a difference every single day.

🙏 Thank you to Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative and everyone who rounds up their bill to support causes like ours. You are changing lives!

I have my ticket do you have yours? I grew up on Main Street in Vinita, my family had two offices on the 200 block of South Wilson during the 1980s. We also had an antique store, auction house, Vinita Discount Furniture, etc.

I've walked Main Street in parades, announced parades, ridden in the parades, going back decades! Bought jewelry, shot pool in the pool halls, bought clothes from Vanity Fair and Drapers, ate at Christy's Diner, bought shoes at Felts, the list goes ON and On!

So many businesses gone and cherished friends as well. I knew almost every downtown business owner, we did business with them, ate with them, stopped in each other's shops and had coffee together.

A large number of the downtown business owners were Freemasons, including my father. I grew up tagging along with my parents to Masons and Shriners get-togethers. And growing up on Main Street they all treated me as their own.

I love seeing this event bringing back the old stories and to support Vinita as we develop our historic Ward 3 downtown district!

There’s just something special about gathering on Main Street. And this year, we're doing it Rt. 66 Style!

Stories on the Street is a limited-seating community dinner under the stars, featuring incredible food from Piguet’s Prime Time and the kind of atmosphere you only find in a small town.

Come be a part of a night that celebrates Vinita at its best!

Friday, May 8, from 6:30–8:00 PM on the 100 block of Wilson Street.

Stop by BancFirst to get your tickets, or email [email protected] for inquiries.

What a great day for Vinita at the Grand Opening of the new Visitors Center on Historic Route 66! What a wonderful improvement to one of our Vinita Ward 3 properties. I am proud to have helped in the property acquisition negotiation that made it possible for this all happen. Grabbed a picture with my in laws and previous property owners, Jan Elliott Lovelace & Bo Lovelace, after the ribbon cutting today.

Was also great to see Lieutenant Governor Pinnell as well. I had the privilege a few years ago to be a featured panelist in a summit he held at Skiatook Lake promoting and supporting the Public Private Partnership economic development program in Oklahoma. Good times!

Seeking community help for our downtown Vinita Day Center - URGENT need for cases of bottled water! We appreciate any assistance you can provide!

💧🚨 COMMUNITY WATER DRIVE – GOAL: 100 CASES! 🚨💧

The Vinita Day Center has an urgent need for bottled water, and we’re setting a goal to collect 100 cases as quickly as possible.

Our neighbors depend on us daily, and clean drinking water is essential. Let’s rally together and hit this goal!

📦 Please drop off cases of bottled water directly at the center.
💙 Every case brings us closer.
🎯 Help us reach 100!

Vinita always shows up when it matters. Let’s do it again.
