Calling ALL STUDENT ATHLETES!

Sports physicals are happening tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2nd.

Also-- VCS is using a new system to upload physicals and sign sports forms. All those expecting to play a middle or high school sport MUST create an account in FinalForms and upload their physical there.

Our Vicksburg High School Boys and Girls Track Teams had a great showing at the State Finals this weekend!
VHS picked up one new state champ, multiple podium finishes and lots of new school records!

MHSAA Division 2 State Champion!!
Congratulations to Kameron Kessler who won state in shot-put with a throw of 56’ 2.75”!

MHSAA Division 2 All State honors:
Lyla Veldt took 5th place in discus with a throw of 132' 3”. That’s another new school record for Lyla!

MHSAA Division 2 All State honors:
Caiden Caswell placed 6th in the 3200 meter race with a time of 9:35.86!

Girls 4x100 Relay- 10th place and a new school record!

Chloe Nieuwenhuis- 11th Place- Discus 116'0- New personal best.

Boys 4x100– New school record!
Cayden Chapman, Breckin Meeks, Ja’Kobi Reed, and Travis Hostetler broke the existing school record time of 43.31 from 2023 with a time of 43.23!

Kendra Zahnow- 18th Place- 9'9 Tied her personal best!

Madison Pilate- 20th Place- Long Jump

Congratulations to all those who qualified to compete at State! Way to go Dawgs!

Congratulations to our Vicksburg High School Girls Soccer team for a huge Districts win!

This is the first District Championship for the Girls Soccer program in 20 years!!

They move to the Regional Semifinal on Tuesday at 7pm in Otsego.

Step into history at the annual 5th Grade Wax Museum at Indian Lake Elementary!

They brought history to life after researching influential historical figures.

Students from other grade levels and family members toured the “museum,” activating each wax figure with the press of a button to hear the speech each student carefully researched and prepared.

This engaging tradition is a wonderful showcase of our students’ hard work, creativity, and public speaking skills. Great job to our Indian Lake 5th graders for making history come alive!
