Fayette County Farmland Assessment Review Committee
The Fayette County Farmland Assessment Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 10:00am in room 009 in the Basement of the Fayette County Courthouse, 221 S. Seventh St. Vandalia, IL 62471. The purpose of this hearing is to present the 2026 Farmland Values certified by the Illinois Department of Revenue.

The Annual Assessors meeting for 2025 will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 10:00am in the Fayette County Courthouse. It will be held in Conference Room 009 across from the Fayette County Supervisor of Assessments Office.

Monday December 16 Deadline
Any property owners, regardless of whether they received a change notice or not can file a complaint. Complaint forms must be received in the Supervisor of Assessments Office during the period of November 13th through December 16th in order to be considered by the Board of Review. Any complaint form received after December 16th will not be accepted. For answers to any questions concerning the hearing process, you may call 618-283-5020 or stop by the Supervisor of Assessments Office in the basement of the courthouse.
