September 11, 2026, marks the 25th anniversary of a day that forever changed our nation.

Today, the Town of Van Wyck invites our community to pause and remember those we lost, honor the heroes who responded, and reflect on the strength and unity that followed.

RFP 2026-01 – Town Identification Signs

The Town of Van Wyck has officially released RFP 2026-01 seeking proposals from qualified firms for the design, permitting, fabrication, and installation of three Town identification signs.

The project includes:

Two gateway/welcome signs at key entrances into Van Wyck
One identification sign for the Van Wyck Community Center
Complete design-build services including site review, design, permitting, fabrication, installation, and site restoration

RFP Issued: September 9, 2026
Proposal Deadline: October 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time
Anticipated Council Award: October 28, 2026

Qualified sign companies and design-build firms are encouraged to review the complete RFP and submit a proposal. Please feel free to share this opportunity with firms that may be interested!

At last night’s Town Council meeting, Alena Massey, State Chaplain of the Children of the American Revolution, presented a proclamation in honor of Constitution Week, September 17–23, 2026.

Constitution Week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution and reflect on the principles of freedom, democracy, and civic responsibility that continue to shape our nation.
