Programs includes Adult Daycare, Childcare, Senior Enrichment Center, Wilkinson Senior Center, Grandparents As Parents, Homebound Meal Delivery to frail seniors, Food Pantry, Care Management, Transportation Services, Sages & Seekers Mentorship, At-risk Youth Programs and our Encino Farmers Market.

ONEgeneration would like to congratulate our amazing Senior Enrichment Center volunteer Arlene Zoren who was honored today at The 61st Annual Older Americans Recognition Day Ceremony by the L.A. County Aging & Disabilities Department, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, & the Los Angeles County Commission for Older Adults for her dedication to our community. Arlene has been involved with the Center since 2001 and has led our annual Holiday Show (teaching, choregraphing, and designing costumes) since 2015! At 84, her passion, creativity, and commitment inspire confidence, connection, and joy throughout our center. Thank you to the award presenters Maral Karacussian - Director of LA County Aging & Disabilities Dept., Savannah Portillo - Deputy for Supervisor Horvath, and LA County Commissioners Barbara Meltzer and Ted Smith. Special thanks to the LA County staff and LACCOA for a lovely event.

Join ONEgeneration's Grandparents As Parents Program's Spanish Speaking Men’s Table group once a month at our Daycare Center located at 17400 Victory Blvd., Van Nuys, 91406. This is a welcoming opportunity for men of all ages to come together to share a meal, engage in meaningful discussion, and build community and connection. Grandparents As Parents staff and clients were proud to attend the Kinship Care LA Conference on May 14th, a day filled with valuable information, resources, and connection for kinship caregivers across Los Angeles County. We were especially honored to have Samantha Carrera from GAP serve on a panel of speakers, where she shared her personal experience as a relative caregiver raising her siblings. The conference provided a wonderful opportunity to learn alongside caregivers and connect with organizations and DCFS staff who are dedicated to supporting kinship families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful event possible! 💙

The As Parents and Penny Lane Centers recently partnered to host a special Family Photo Day for our clients! Families had the opportunity to take professional family photos and decorate picture frames to display their memories at home. For some families, it had been years since they last had a family portrait taken, and our caregivers and children truly embraced the fun and excitement of the day. Thank you to all of our participants for joining us and helping make this another wonderful and memorable event for our kinship community!

Call or email [email protected] to receive a pick up time on Mon 06/01. Limit of one per household. This is not an event you need to line up early for, simply register and you will be given a pick up time. Distribution from our Senior Enrichment Center at 18255 Victory Blvd in Reseda.
