Jason Ackerman, Community Advocate My name is Jason Ackerman. I proudly served the people of Encino for 4 years and Van Nuys for nearly I Graduated from CSUN with a B.A. My Top 3 issues are:
1.

in Anthropology, Geography(GIS minor) and Sustainability. Eventually, I would like to fix the transit situation in the San Fernando Valley as a whole, but for now, I'm focusing on the SFV's Transit and Civic heart, Van Nuys. Developing attractive alternatives to driving so we can reduce traffic on our major corridors especially Van Nuys Blvd by creating safer networks for our pedestrians, bicyclis

ts and skate-based commuters.
2. Defending Van Nuy's public spaces such as our beloved parks and community gardens from privatization and/or closure.
3. Fighting for affordable housing for young people, retirees and our Homeless Constituents.
