In Medan, Indonesia, the children had the great honor of participating in a Three Periods of Mindfulness Prayer Assembly personally presided over by “Monk Dad” Venerable Master Hui Li. They prayed for world peace and stability, for all sentient beings to be free from suffering and attain happiness, and for all sponsor parents worldwide to be happy and joyful! The Dharma assembly was pure, solemn, exceptionally auspicious, and perfectly accomplished. We sincerely thank ACC Indonesia President Shen Ai Li for leading the entire board of directors and volunteer team in jointly making this event a success!

ACC Lesotho 2026 Family Day and Winter Relief Programme Concludes Successfully
On 18 July 2026, Amitofo Care Centre Lesotho (ACC) successfully hosted its annual Family Day and Winter Relief Programme, bringing together children, parents, government leaders and community members in an atmosphere filled with joy, gratitude and warmth.
Parents from across the country gathered at ACC to enjoy precious moments with their children. Through vibrant performances and presentations showcasing their academic achievements and personal development, the children confidently demonstrated their talents, growth and aspirations. The encouragement, love and support of their families served as a powerful source of motivation, inspiring them to continue working hard and pursue their dreams with confidence.
ACC was honoured to welcome the Deputy Prime Minister of Lesotho, Hon. Justice Nthomeng Majara; Minister of Social Development, Hon. Pitso Lesaoana; Member of Parliament, Hon. Adv. Lekhetho Rakuoane; former Minister of Social Development, Hon. Mathabiso Lepono; Chief Molupe Lumisi, together with many distinguished government officials and honoured guests. Their presence reflected the Government’s strong commitment to child welfare and education while underscoring the importance of collaboration between government, communities and educational institutions in nurturing the next generation and building a brighter future for all children.
Alongside the Family Day celebrations, ACC also carried out its Winter Relief Programme, distributing 500 food parcels, freshly baked bread prepared by the ACC bakery, and warm winter essentials to vulnerable families in the surrounding communities. In addition, a wheelchair was donated to a community member in need, helping to improve mobility and quality of life. Through these initiatives, Amitofo Care Center International continued to fulfil its mission of serving the community and supporting those most in need, ensuring that warmth, hope and compassion reached families throughout the cold winter season.

Lighting the Future, Empowering Education — Eqinisweni Primary School Reaches a New Digital Milestone!
Education is one of the most powerful ways to transform lives; technology is the key that opens the door to the future world.
Recently, in a heartwarming event filled with international kindness and community care, Eqinisweni Primary School in Eswatini received a donation of 30 ASUS desktop computers. This meaningful initiative was made possible through the generous donation of computer equipment by ASUS, the participation and support of students from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), and the assistance of Amitofo Care Centre (ACC) in coordinating the reception and event arrangements.
The team leader expressed sincere appreciation for ACC’s long-term dedication to education and community service, creating learning opportunities for children in need. Special thanks were also extended to the ICT Inspector from the Ministry of Education and Training of Eswatini and Tex-Ray Company for their valuable support.
A special highlight of this initiative was the contribution from Tex-Ray Company, which not only assisted in safely transporting the 30 computers to Eswatini but also generously donated eight 10-kilogram bags of rice and eight 2-kilogram bags of sugar beans to the local community. Although the company representatives were unable to attend the event in person, their actions demonstrated genuine care and compassion, allowing this cross-border act of kindness to extend beyond education and reach the wider community.
As the school principal was unable to attend the ceremony, a senior teacher represented the school in receiving a commemorative gift from ASUS. On behalf of all teachers and students, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to ASUS, National Tsing Hua University, and ACC. She shared that the school had long faced challenges due to limited access to ICT equipment, which restricted the implementation of information technology education.
Today, the arrival of these computers marks a significant transformation in the school’s learning environment. More students will have the opportunity to access computers, develop digital skills, and explore new possibilities. This donation opens a new chapter for ICT education at the school and creates a gateway for children to connect with the wider world.
And this act of kindness goes far beyond the donation of equipment.
Over the coming week, students from National Tsing Hua University will enter the classrooms and lead a series of interactive ICT lessons. Through hands-on learning, knowledge sharing, and cross-cultural exchange, they will help students bridge the digital divide while developing the skills, confidence, and global perspectives needed to thrive in the era of artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Nurturing Future Leaders: Career Guidance Day at Yuan Tong Primary School !
Guided by our core vision of “Providing safe and caring education for every child, every day,” Yuan Tong Primary School, under the Amitofo Care Centre (ACC) in Eswatini, recently hosted an inspiring and impactful Career Guidance Day.
Through creative classroom roleplay activities, learning was brought to life in an engaging and meaningful way. During the event, teachers and students worked together in performances that guided learners to explore different career paths and discover the endless possibilities that await when they dare to dream big.
🔑 The Key to Success: Focus on Your Goals and Shape Your Future
The event delivered a clear and powerful message:
“Your future is in your own hands.”
The session focused on how career dreams can gradually become reality through dedication and positive choices:
📚 Prioritising Education:
Dedicating oneself to daily learning is the most important foundation for building a bright and successful future.
📖 Building Knowledge:
Students were reminded that the primary purpose of school is to learn, grow, and develop a strong foundation of knowledge and wisdom.
🚫 Avoiding Negative Influences and Overcoming Barriers to Growth
The speakers openly shared real-life challenges that may affect young people’s future development. They provided important guidance to help learners understand the serious consequences of harmful behaviours:
❌ The Dangers of Drug Abuse:
Students learned that substance abuse can lead to memory loss, negative influences, and even push young people toward harmful behaviours such as theft and other forms of crime.
❌ The Risks of Early Relationships:
Learners were guided to understand that entering romantic relationships too early may lead to teenage pregnancy and can negatively affect their education and future plans.
🤝 Choosing Respect:
Students were encouraged to reject disrespectful behaviour, support one another, respect their teachers, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
🍎 Words of Wisdom and Healthy Life Habits
At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Simelane provided a meaningful summary of the roleplay activities and shared an inspiring message with the students.
He encouraged learners to remain focused on their studies and protect their futures by staying away from drugs, inappropriate relationships, and disrespectful behaviour. He also reminded them that:
A successful life requires a healthy body and mind.
Students were encouraged to develop positive hygiene and lifestyle habits:
1️⃣ Maintain a healthy and balanced diet to provide the energy needed for learning and brain development.
2️⃣ Practice regular bathing and personal hygiene to stay fresh, confident, and ready to embrace new learning challenges.
🎁 Celebrating Excellence and Encouraging Confidence
To conclude the meaningful day, Ms. Khumalo, Chairperson of the Career Guidance Committee, presented special gifts to the talented students who participated in the roleplay activities, recognising their enthusiasm, creativity, and outstanding efforts.

Hope often begins with a single visit, a single conversation, and a single child.
Between 22 June and 14 July 2026, the Amitofo Care Center International’s Lilongwe vulnerable children protection program team travelled through the villages of Traditional Authority Chimutu, where 39 children were carefully assessed to identify those most in need of educational support.
From Kumayani, Chambo, Chinoko, Katsika, and the neighbouring villages, every child carried a different story, yet all shared the same hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Together with the dedicated Social Welfare Officers of Lilongwe — Ms. Bridget Mwale, Mr. Allan, and Ms. Cecelia Sokosi — our team, led by the Director, carefully identified vulnerable children whose greatest need is the opportunity to learn.

Lesotho Government Joins Hands with Amitofo Care Center International (ACC) child protection program in Lesotho
Protecting Children's Safe Growth and Empowering Them to Face the Future
From July 6th to July 10th, ACC Lesotho experienced a warm and meaningful week. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the District Child Protection Team and the Mafeteng Police Department for visiting our centre. They conducted a five-day Psychosocial Support (PSS) workshop, providing our children with rich, practical, and life-centered educational programs.
During the workshop, the District Child Protection Team utilized games and interactive activities to guide children aged 11 and under in recognizing bodily boundaries and understanding the importance of self-protection. Simultaneously, they accompanied teenagers aged 12 and above in reflecting on how to courageously face future challenges, build life resilience, and establish positive attitudes. In addition, officers from the Mafeteng Police Department conducted gender-segregated sessions, educating the children on anti-bullying, self-protection, and crime prevention.
We are deeply grateful for the warm presence and meticulous guidance of the government departments involved. Their efforts have helped our children build confidence and gain the strength to face life's challenges. ACC Lesotho remains committed to creating a more comprehensive educational and nurturing environment, accompanying our children as they courageously embrace life and strive to create their own futures

Compassion Across Continents, Education for a Brighter Future — ACC Joins Hands with Companies and Youth to Support Students in Eswatini
In a deeply moving act of compassion that showcased the power of international collaboration and local care, the Amitofo Care Centre (ACC) welcomed a delegation comprising students from National Tsing Hua University, representatives from ASUS and Texray, and Dr. Simelane, Eswatini’s ICT Regional Inspector, to deliver meaningful donations to Ekuthuleni High School.
This cross-border partnership not only strengthened the school’s educational environment but also provided urgently needed support for its students and staff. Together, ASUS and the National Tsing Hua University team donated 15 computers, helping enhance the school’s ICT facilities and digital learning opportunities. Texray generously contributed ten 10-kg bags of rice and ten 2-kg bags of sugar beans, providing much-needed food assistance to the school community.
