Well y’all, I gave it my best but I’m still the new kid in town and the odds were against me. My decision to run came from a good place so I put myself out there and as with everything else in my life, it was a good ride and a lot was learned. I self funded so you didn’t see signs all over town but I don’t feel I owe anyone any favors, this was the most important campaign decision I made. I put my money where my mouth is. This will not impact my involvement in the community, I will continue to work for you.
There will be a runoff and I wholeheartedly endorse Mr. Wayne Everett and ask those of you that supported me to support him. I wish I had met him before this because I would have definitely backed him instead of running. Getting to know him while at the polls every day I can say that he is the most qualified for the job and I have said as much to him.
I appreciate the votes and the encouragement from so many of you that live outside my precinct and the most important thing that I’ve gained out of this is meeting new amazing people. May God bless you all and I hope to see y’all around. 💕 🙏

Woohooo!!! I had heard it wasn’t going to happen this year but I’m glad it is and I look forward to seeing y’all out there. What ever happens, it will be the will of the people. 🙏 Get out and vote if you haven’t.

The Uvalde Leader-News has been inviting the public to an “election party” for 94 years, the event’s genesis residing in the 1932 presidential election that featured Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Uvalde’s own John Nance “Cactus Jack” Garner at the top of the ticket.

Join us outside the Leader-News tonight, March 3, as results come in for nearly three dozen local candidates, along with state and national races.

“We are proud to continue the election party tradition, and we will be primed and ready when the results from this year’s primary balloting begin to flow on March 3,” said newspaper publisher Craig Garnett. “Our prediction is that the record number of candidates will fuel much excitement.”

If you think your vote doesn’t matter you are sadly mistaken. This is what happens when we don’t get out and vote or when we vote for the wrong reason. This is unAmerican. This Representative doesn’t represent the American people, her allegiance is to terrorists. She is only one example. Vote with a conscience because elections have consequences and pray for our Troops, our Navy Base in Bahrain has been hit. 🙏
