On Saturday, September 12, 2026, college students from the Hamilton Association for Volunteering, Outreach and Charity (HAVOC) rolled up their sleeves and gave the back of T.R. Proctor Park some much-needed TLC! 🌳🗑️

Together, they collected 8 bags of trash, helping make the park cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for everyone in our community.

Today, we joined The Genesis Group for their Remembrance Breakfast before attending The City of Utica, NY's Remembrance Ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial Monument.

We remember those we lost, honor the first responders and their families who have carried the effects of that day for 25 years, and recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service that should never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

A remembrance ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of September 11th will be held at 10 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial.

GreenUtica is proud to help maintain the plantings at Utica’s 9/11 monument, helping keep this important place of remembrance beautiful and respectfully maintained for our community. 🇺🇸

A 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held at the 9/11 Memorial on Memorial Parkway in Utica.

Today we celebrated Arbor Day with the Utica University Football team and Mayor Galime at Lincoln Playground. Mike Mahanna, our board member, taught the group how to plant the trees. Now the park has 20 new trees as part of Utica’s Urban Tree Revitalization Program. More to come tomorrow!!! Thanks to the UU team and Coach Faggiano!
