No amnesty for anyone in departments that put people in literal cages. Prosecution is the moderate position here. Accountability is required and anything less is unacceptable.

The cages, called “calming areas,” were used for detainees to “reflect on their behavior choices, manage their emotions, reduce stress and practice self-directed behavior,” according to the inspector general’s report.

A big win for municipal workers in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. After more than a year of negotiations, 14 workers in the city's water, wastewater, street, and sanitation departments ratified their first collective bargaining agreement, officially joining Gas Workers Union UWUA Local G-555 under a new three-year contract.
