We are deep into baby season and the support you gave us last month was AMAZING, so I decided to make this a monthly post (if I remember). I am often asked what we need and it isn't until I'm in the middle of feeding, cleaning a cage, or quarantining a new intake that I think, "Wow! I should write this down!" Thank you for considering a donation!

1. 😺πŸͺ΅πŸ¦Cat tree scratching post. We are looking for 1 or 2, gently used scratching posts that our raccoons can learn to climb on. It doesn't have to be large or new.

2. πŸ™€πŸŒŠπŸ¦¨puppy pads/pee pads. We go through sooo many of these. Frequent cage cleaning is a must, opossum and raccoon are the messiest!! Any size or kind, we aren't picky. We make them work!

3. πŸ’πŸ πŸ’’ This is an odd one but it's never far from my thoughts. High on my wishlist is to have use of one of our vacant downtown St. Cloud shops (there are so many) that we can call home. It would be a tax write off for the shop owner and it would be a wonderful thing to finally be able to get volunteers and have a real building (not our homes). I need it to be in walking distance of my home so this is why I am looking in this area. So if you know anyone that may be able to help, please put the bug in their ear for us!

4. πŸ…πŸŠπŸ«›Produce! If I had to guess, besides formula, produce is what we spend the most money on when it comes to daily care. Sooo gardens will soon be ripe and if you find you have an abundance, please think of us! Eggs are very well appreciated as well!

5. πŸš—πŸš™πŸ›» Transport! Looking for someone going through Madison MN to pick up frozen meat being donated to the animals. So perhaps someone is already headed in that direction?

Thank you so much for your continued support. We appreciate you all. We couldn't do this without you!πŸ’•

So many calls about fledglings lately. If the parents are around the grounded juvenile and you see no visible injuries, let the parents do their job. It can take a few days for babies to learn to fly. Please help get the word out to reduce the number of babies taken from parents, and the number of our cages that get filled unnecessarily ❀️

Our raccoons are thriving thanks to your kindness. We're able to care for these precious animals only because of the generosity of people like you who donate to our cause, so thank you for making a difference. πŸ»πŸ’•πŸŒŸπŸŽ‰
