UPDATE: We are seeing service restored in Colorado for Comcast customers, though nothing has yet been announced officially. Any other Colorado customers now able to access websites that were previously not loading?

UPDATE: We are continuing to follow this issue and have recently run across some information with what is believed to be the cause...

There's something called the global routing table and this is essentially how your computer is able to pass through the internet and connect to that website you're trying to visit. The router hardware being used by some ISPs is able to handle no more than 511,999 BGP routes. Apparently we hit 512k, which has caused hardware to fail, bringing down a significant portion of the web in the U.S. today.

Still no update has been attained regarding when service will be fully restored, but we are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide additional updates as they become available.

The default configuration is to allocate 512k entries to each of the protocol resulting in 512k possible IPv4 routes and 256k possible IPv6 routes.
