What a sweet day at the park! ☀️🫧🌳

Despite the heat, we had three friends join us for our first Picnic in the Park adventure of the season in Northfield. For all of them, it was their very first visit to this playground and they’re already excited to come back!

We spent the morning exploring the playground, chasing bubbles from the bubble machine, enjoying fresh air, and staying cool with plenty of water. We shared snacks and lunch in the shade, enjoyed story time together, and watched the children get busy cooking up imaginative creations in the outdoor play kitchen.

Simple days like these remind us that some of the best memories are made through play, exploration, and time spent together outdoors. Thank you to the families who joined us. We can’t wait to do it again!

What a wonderful day at our 5th Annual Family Fun Fest! 🎉🌈🫧

Despite some rainy weather, more than 200 community members joined us this weekend, including 100 children, for a day of connection, fun, and family-friendly activities.

Some highlights from the day:
✨ Welcoming 25 new families to our community
✨ Representation from the Paid Family Leave Coalition
✨ A brand-new scavenger hunt that was a huge hit with kids and families
✨ Live music from Rockin' Ron, who kept everyone smiling and singing along
✨ Story time with Mr. Ian from Aldrich Public Library, who also delighted attendees with a special bagpipe performance

Every conversation, smile, and new connection helps parents and caregivers feel supported and reminds them that they are part of a community that cares. ❤️

Special appreciation goes to our incredible staff volunteers: Shana, Meaghan, Jocelyn, Kayla, Cindy, Natalie, Alyssa, Abby, Claire, and Heather.

And a special shout out to our amazing event planning team: Gwen, Heidi, Chef Andrea, Emily, Felicia, Shelly, and Morgan.
