This role is not about fixing someone's life. It's about building trust and sending a powerful message: "You matter. You are not forgotten. You don't have to do this alone."

At its heart, this volunteer opportunity is about presence, relationships, and strengthening our community through connection and support.

Most people coming home from prison have lost more than their freedom—they've lost relationships, trust, and the feeling of having someone in their corner.

Join us on July 14 for a Lunch & Learn (12pm-3pm) or a Dinner & Learn (5pm-8pm) to learn about Amicus and our One to One Mentoring Program, which connects people incarcerated in Minnesota prisons with volunteer community friends who provide consistent support before and after release.

You don't need special experience—just a few hours a month, a willingness to listen, and a desire to make a difference. Amicus provides training and ongoing support.

We were moved by two incredible women who shared their journeys through incarceration and reentry with honesty, courage, and grace. Their stories reminded us of the strength it takes to rebuild, the weight of stigma, and the power of being seen and supported.
