Shirley has original outbuildings with displays and exhibits such as a timeline spanning nearly 400 years of American history, ice harvest display in the original ice pit loft, archaeology panels and new artifact displa

y, slavery and servitude exhibit including a video portion, food preparation display, architecture panels, farm equipment and more. Enjoy the scenic James River from the lawn or take in the expansive view of fields of wheat, corn, cotton, or soybeans.
