Loudoun Crime Commission

Loudoun Crime Commission The Loudoun Crime Commission is a non-profit, charitable, membership organization, open to any conce

We believe that "Fighting crime is every citizens business!" We have made this our motto. The Commission plays a special role within the Loudoun County community by supporting law enforcement and other organizations with anti-crime initiatives through its community based support. This support includes enhancing direct communications between citizens and law enforcement through social networking pr

ograms, luncheons, and other events with law enforcement, business, citizens, media and government agency involvement. The LCC also provides direct and indirect support to police agencies that include material and financial assistance for education, training and equipment (on a case by case basis). By linking these disparate groups together with a single focus of fighting crime, we can make a positive difference in the communication level between these groups and in understanding how to work together better in Loudoun County. In all activities, the Loudoun Crime Commission shall remain politically neutral, neither supporting nor disparaging any political party.

Well done.

Well done.

Congratulations to our Member of the Quarter, Sgt. William James, EMT. William works tirelessly to keep our aging and well-used fleet of ambulances in top operational condition—a mission that is absolutely critical to LCVRS’s core function. William’s dedication and service to the station set a remarkable example for all of us. He quietly works hard behind the scenes, motivated by a genuine commitment to doing what is right and by a desire to continually improve the services we provide, rather than by any desire for recognition. We are incredibly grateful for his steadfast efforts and proud to have him as part of our team.

PURCELLVILLE POLICE COLLECTING SCHOOL SUPPLIES

By the end of August, children will head back to the classroom, and unfortunately some will do so without the necessary supplies. The Purcellville Police Department is proud to support our local students by collecting these much-needed supplies, starting July 7, 2025, through August 1, 2025. The Purcellville Police Department has a box in the lobby of the police station, located at 125 Hirst Road, Suite 7A, Purcellville, to collect donated, new school supplies Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If community members prefer to order donations online, we have created an Amazon Wish List. Items can be ordered off the wish list and selected to be delivered directly to the Purcellville Police Department. The wish list can be viewed here (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3HDXRSOCE9U0P?type=wishlist&filter=unpurchased&sort=priority&viewType=list) or scan the QR code.
