Join us on 6/24 11:30am-12:30pm in Davenport for a unique creative workshop to honor those we've lost to cancer.

We will join together for an hour of reflection and creativity as we create Legacy Stones. Using stones and paint, we will decorate "touchstones" with names, favorite quotes, or symbols that represent the strength and love of those we carry in our hearts.

No art experience required. All materials will be provided.

We are seeking women living with metastatic breast cancer to participate in a virtual focus group about s*xual health and intimacy while living with metastatic breast cancer.

After Cancer, Inc. is partnering with University of Iowa Health Care to develop new educational resources for patients and providers.

𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧! If you've finished treatment in the last two years (finished with surgery, chemo, radiation, etc. - being on maintenance meds is fine), this survivorship retreat is for you! This retreat is also for people who will always have cancer and are managing it as a chronic disease.

It is common to feel many emotions once treatment ends. The post-treatment phase of survivorship requires many things – physical activity, nutrition, a healthy emotional life, and management of physical health. Cancer Transitions® is a free program designed to help cancer survivors transition from active treatment to post-treatment care.⁠
⁠
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: Cancer Transitions is aimed at survivors of any cancer diagnosis who have completed active treatment within the last 24 months. This survivorship retreat will be a day full of informative sessions and activities focused on things individuals facing new survivorship may be experiencing. While each session focuses on a specific skill set and topic, critical components such as group support and reflective exercises are incorporated in every session. The program provides survivors with practical tools and resources to formulate a personal action plan for survivorship beyond their participation in Cancer Transitions.⁠
