🎓 Congratulations to the newest DINFOS graduates!

Mass Communication Foundations Course classes 220-26 and 230-26, along with Public Affairs and Communication Strategy Qualification Course–Distance Learning class 010-26, graduated yesterday.

Armed with the skills to inform audiences, tell the military’s story and support commanders across the force, these graduates are ready for what comes next. Congratulations on this milestone and the start of your careers as military communicators! 🇺🇸👏

The Defense Information School Army Element marked a leadership transition as 1st Sgt. Gerald Woods relinquished responsibility and 1st Sgt. Jessica Gonzalez assumed responsibility as the Army Element’s 1st Sgt.

Col. Jennifer Bocanegra, Defense Information School commandant, delivered remarks during the ceremony. Lt. Col. Angel Jackson, Army Element commander, received the noncommissioned officer sword from Woods and passed it to Gonzalez, formally transferring responsibility. ⚔️

The Change of Responsibility ceremony honored Woods’ dedicated leadership and service to the Army Element. As Gonzalez accepted the noncommissioned officer sword, she assumed the responsibility to advise the commander, care for Soldiers and families, and help ensure the Army Element remains ready to accomplish its mission.

Please join us in thanking 1st Sgt. Woods for his service and welcoming 1st Sgt. Gonzalez to this important leadership role. 👏

🎓 Congratulations to the graduates of the Intermediate Multimedia Course, Class 050-26, who graduated today!

Throughout the course, students strengthened their visual information production skills, applying video, audio, lighting and motion graphics to create compelling narrative and non-narrative products in support of the Department of War mission.
