Here at the Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Advanced Individual Training (AIT) School House, our priority is developing and enhancing the tactical and technical skills of the newest Air Defenders, through rigorous training on current Air Defense technology and tactics, to provide the force with highly skilled and trained ADA Warfighters. Air Defense Enhanced Early Warning System Operator (14H)
The Air Defense Enhanced Early Warning Systems Operator, has the vital task of evaluating and communicating data about incoming enemy aerial and missile attacks and aerial surveillance. They maintain computer data links and networks that provide early detection and tracking of possible air threats from the earth’s surface to space, giving units situational awareness and data needed to enable threat engagement and destruction and sustain air space superiority. Job Duties
• Prepare for movement, emplacements, initializations and system maintenance on air/missile defense planning control systems
• Evaluate tactical data intelligence data for operations in a joint network
• Perform data connectivity between various networks and communication systems

Training
Job training for an air defense enhanced early warning system operators requires 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and in the field under simulated combat conditions.
