What are you free from?

Are you free from fear?
Free from self-doubt?
Free from unhealthy relationships?
Free from financial burdens?
Free from the belief that your past defines your future?

At The 1st Step Inc., we believe every step toward growth is a step toward freedom.

Today was a success! 💕

What an amazing team of volunteers who showed up today to help make our Little Steps Boutique Giveaway a success. Because of their dedication to serve, we were able to distribute diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, and other essential items to families in our community.

Thank you to each of you who donated your time and energy. Your support helped us serve 25 families, representing 84 household members in total. The event was scheduled for longer, but within just 2 hours, all available items had been distributed due to the overwhelming need in our community.

A special thank you to Wawa Store #5257 for donating 100 soft pretzels, which were an added treat for the families who attended the event. Your generosity was greatly appreciated!

Thank you Presbyterian Social Ministries for your donation of children's clothing and toys that helped out a LOT!

As we continue serving local families, we are currently accepting donations of gently used children's clothing sizes 0–18 months, diapers, wipes, and other infant and toddler essentials. These donations help us reach more families and ensure that parents have access to the items they need for their little ones.

If you would like to donate, please don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can continue making a difference, one family at a time.

The Art of Her event today was two things: exactly what many of us needed and more than we could have hoped for.🎉

Not only did attendees leave with raffle prizes such as gift cards to Cheesecake Factory, Dunkin', Bath & Body Works, journals, candles, and more, but they also left with something even more valuable and that was encouragement and the reminder that they do not have to face life's challenges alone.

Throughout the event, we created a space where women (and men) could share what was weighing on their hearts and minds. Whether it was health concerns, a career change, contemplating a major move, feeling unseen, or simply navigating a difficult season, we put those thoughts, fears, hopes, and dreams onto canvas through paint.

By the end of the event, things people wanted to leave behind stayed on the canvas, while the strength, connection, and encouragement they needed to move forward went home with them.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this experience so meaningful. Today was a beautiful reminder that healing and growth can truly be works of art. ❤️🎨

A night to remember! 🎶

We are incredibly grateful to United Land Services for the donation of their loge during the Queens Concert Tour and helping us celebrate the amazing caregivers in our community. The laughter, the dancing, and the joy I witnessed from these caregivers are a constant reminder that everyone deserves a chance to have a moment of fun and just unwind.
