Union Dale volunteers were woken up last night just before midnight for a 43 year old female that was pushed from a moving vehicle with injury’s in the area of the Speakeasy Saloon. Our brush truck/QRS responded with a total of 6 as well as Thompson Hose Company EMS in Pleasant Mount Emergency Services Inc first due. Due to traumatic injuries a helicopter was requested for transport and Union Dale set up the landing zone until pleasant mount Engine arrived to handle the landing.

On the return 2 vehicles were found in a field but no injuries or personnel were found.

Around 5pm last night Union dale fire was requested by Pleasant Mount Emergency Services Inc for a patient who fell in a sink hole on the rail-trail in the location of creek road. Our brush truck responded with a total of 6 personnel on scene. Patient was removed from the sink hole and transported by 28 EMS to a local hospital. This section of the rail to tail is closed until further notice. We recommend following their page for updates on this closure and when it will be fixed.

Union Dale Volunteers responded to two calls in the last 24 hrs. 🚒

🔴 Sunday May 24th around 11:15am our engine and tanker were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in Forest City. Our engine and tanker would respond with a total of 7 volunteers but get cancelled in route.

🔴 Monday May 25th in the early morning around 1:50 AM our engine and tanker were dispatched for a furnace fire in Greenfield township. Our engine and tanker would respond with a total of 7 volunteers but get cancelled in route.

This weekend may be a cold, rainy, and not the best weekend to golf but hey that is okay! While you sitting at home wishing you were golfing, mark you calendar for our 17th annual golf tournament this coming August 30th! We look forward to seeing everyone on the course ! 🏌️

Tonight 7 Union Dale members traveled to Pleasant Mount Emergency Services Inc to review truck equipment and go over Northern Wayne Fire Company ladder truck. This is key to knowing what equipment each company brings to each call and work to prepare instead of react!

Congratulations to member Javan Allison on successfully passing his National NREMT Exam today!

Becoming an EMT is no small accomplishment. The journey requires nearly 200 hours of classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and dedication to serving others.

We are proud of Javan’s hard work and commitment, and we look forward to seeing him continue to serve our community with the Union Dale Volunteer Fire Company. Congratulations, Javan!
