🔥 Wildfires are growing more common and more extreme -- our rural communities need trained, local firefighters now more than ever.

Local volunteer firefighter Trevor Mockel trained right here at Mendocino College and defends his hometown — and his local fire Department even partnered with the college to train more local students just like him.

But to keep that pipeline going, we must upgrade our Firefighter Academy and wildland firefighter programs.

Vote YES on A so more firefighters like Trevor can train and protect our communities.

According to State Data: Mendocino County is in a High Nursing Crisis, and Lake County is in a SEVERE Nursing Crisis. That’s Why we need Yes on A.

Local nurse Jordan Grider trained right here at Mendocino College. Today, Jordan is serving the very community that trained him. We need more nurses like Jordan — but we don’t have the classroom space or updated equipment to train them.

Measure A repairs and modernizes the labs and classrooms needed to train desperately needed nurses, EMTs, and physical therapy assistants who will stay and serve our communities.
