🚨 The Future of Emergency Response Is Coming to Tybee!
Big thanks to WSAV News 3 On Your Side for highlighting an exciting new tool coming to the Tybee Island Police Department in the next few months: a Drone First Responder.
The drone will be able to quickly respond to emergencies across the island, reaching any location in approximately 70 seconds. It can fly up to three miles at speeds of about 35 mph, giving first responders an extra set of eyes in the moments when every second counts.
From locating someone in distress to providing real-time information to officers and other emergency personnel, this technology has the potential to help save lives and make Tybee even safer.
