REMINDER, we have a few spots still available for Junior Ranger Camp on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9-2 where kids aged 7-11 can join our rangers for fun activities such as nature hikes, observation of wildlife, outdoor safety, fishing and a closer look inside the Mill House. They will receive their Junior Ranger Badge at the end of the day when they complete the Junior Ranger book. . $25 per kid. Call 478-763-2759 to register them. Limited availability.

*They will need to bring a bag lunch and drinks, sunscreen and bug spray. This is an outdoor event so dress accordingly, closed toe shoes are best for hikes.

Look what our Ranger saw out and about when leaving the Park today! The Ranger was watching from a distance and the gopher tortoise came the Rangers way, it ultimately crossed the road. Keep an eye out when you are exploring, you never know what you may see!

**Remember the Gopher Tortoise is a Keystone species, the state reptile of Georgia and is protected.
