Please join us in welcoming Sara Fitch as the Union Schools Education Foundation (USEF) new Community & Development Director!

Sara brings extensive experience in community engagement, partnership development, fundraising, volunteer coordination and event planning, along with a deep and longstanding connection to Union Public Schools.

Most recently, Sara served as the Community Schools Coordinator at Roy Clark Elementary School, where she built strong relationships with families, volunteers, businesses, nonprofit organizations and faith-based partners. Sara has called Union home since 2011, serving our students, families and schools in several different roles throughout the years.

In her new position, Sara will work alongside Executive Director Shea Ludwig, UPS/USEF Liaison Kulsum Siddiqui, and Auction Coordinator Jennifer Oetken to strengthen relationships with donors, businesses, community partners, volunteers and Union employees while supporting fundraising, special events and community engagement efforts.

Sara knows Union, understands the power of community and shares our passion for creating opportunities for students and teachers. We are thrilled to welcome her to the USEF team and cannot wait to see all that she will help make possible!

Registration is now open for Intramural Tennis for boys and girls in grades 2–6. The program is open to Union students only.

Registration is available September 3 through October 8 online or at the U-Wear Store. The registration fee is $50 per student. After September 24, the cost increases to $65.

Union Athletics launch NIL program to educate student athletes, parents on contract risks

Name, image and likeness deals are no longer reserved just for college athletes.

As NIL opportunities reach high school locker rooms across Oklahoma, Union Public Schools is stepping in to help student-athletes and their families read the fine print.

Union Athletics is introducing "S.O.A.R. NIL," an acronym for Safety, Opportunity, Awareness and Responsibility.

Rather than acting as a marketplace to arrange financial deals, the district's initiative focuses strictly on a yearlong education and seminar series designed to prepare students for the legal, financial and personal branding responsibilities that come with NIL.

Union joins a growing list of Oklahoma school districts taking steps to address NIL, but school officials said their approach focuses on protecting families before contracts ever land on a student's desk.

Middle school students are welcome to attend Varsity football games but MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. For students with an ID, you may sit in the designated middle school section.
