🚨 Jonathan Brooks is Tulsa's new police chief!

Brooks is a longtime Tulsa Police Department leader who currently serves as Deputy Chief of the Administrative Bureau. A finalist in the 2024 chief search that selected Dennis Larsen, he has previously held senior command roles, including leadership of the Operations Bureau. He has also served on Oklahoma’s Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission.

None of the Libs of Tulsa City Council, who had pushed for an outside search and cultural change within the department, attended the announcement. Councilors Karen Gilbert, Anthony Archie, and Christian Bengel were present.

Congratulations Chief Brooks!

TPS Board Approved $650K Sale of Stevenson Elementary to Islamic Group in 1996!

Tulsa Public Schools sold the old Stevenson Elementary for $650,000 after the Islamic Society of Tulsa submitted the winning bid. The school board approved the deal on July 15, 1996, and the contract was signed in August. A board of volunteer citizens. The Society then assigned the entire contract to the North American Islamic Trust, which is why the recorded deed lists NAIT as the buyer instead of IST. Tulsa Public Schools transferred the property directly to NAIT. This is the same land where Masjid Al-Salam stands today.

According to the FBI’s own files, Tareq Al-Suwaidan “is credited with providing the money for the land purchase on which the Tulsa mosque and school now stand.” “Credited with” is not the same as proven in court, but Tulsans still deserve to know whether that claim holds up.

The deed is real. The unclassified FBI investigative notes are real. Questions remain.

The clock is ticking.

Tomorrow at 9 a.m. The Hag Monica and hubby Jason Ponnequin face the music on their felony charges. It will be arraignment day. 👀

It's usually one of the first court appearances after charges are filed. For felonies it’s especially important: it formally starts the court process and locks in the charges the defendants will face going forward.

🚨 FBI Files Expose Muslim Brotherhood Leader’s Secret Cash Pipeline to Tulsa Mosque — $50K a Month, Hamas Cut, and Ties to Top Terrorists! 🚨

Declassified FBI documents reveal a bombshell on Tareq Al-Suwaidan — the Kuwaiti Muslim Brotherhood heavyweight banned from the United States, unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas-funding trial, and the man who founded Tulsa’s Al-Salam Mosque.

These records were made public under Executive Order 14040, signed by President Biden in September 2021, which ordered the declassification of certain long-withheld 9/11-related FBI investigative files. They are now available in the official FBI Vault.

According to the unclassified FBI documents:

• Al-Suwaidan “is credited with providing the money for the land purchase on which the Tulsa mosque and school now stand.”

• He was funneling $50,000 every month into the Tulsa mosque.

• 20% of that money was “taken off the top for the benefit of HAMAS.”

His name appeared in the address book of Mousa (Musa) Abu Marzook.

Who is Marzook?
He is one of Hamas’s most powerful historic figures — the first chairman of Hamas’s Political Bureau (1992–1996) and later its long-serving deputy political bureau chief. The United States designated him a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. While living in America for years (Virginia and Louisiana), he helped build Hamas’s U.S. fundraising and political networks. In 1995 he was arrested at JFK Airport on an Israeli warrant charging him with financing terrorism and conspiracy to commit murder. After nearly two years in U.S. custody, he was deported. He remains a senior Hamas leader operating from abroad.

The same FBI file states that, according to Marzook’s address book, Al-Suwaidan “heads a group of gulf companies that belong to the Muslim Brotherhood.”

The documents also flag potential ties to Mohammed Saleh, a terrorist imprisoned at the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas, for his role in the “TERRSTOP” plot that included plans to bomb the United Nations and other New York targets. Al-Suwaidan’s name and a related company appeared in documents found in Saleh’s prison cell.

And at the center of it all sits Tulsa’s Al-Salam Mosque — funded, according to the FBI, by a Muslim Brotherhood leader with direct ties to Hamas leadership and a convicted bomb-plot terrorist.

▪︎Additional info 10:45pm 8/19/2026:

The Islamic Society of Tulsa was the successful bidder and signed a purchase contract with Tulsa Public Schools on August 26, 1996, for the former Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary School. Title was formally transferred by TPS on January 14–15, 1997, to the North American Islamic Trust (after IST assigned its contractual rights) for $650,000.

▪︎Additional info 3:15 pm 8/20/2026:

Here’s what the redaction codes mean in the part about IST:

A.
Classified FBI information that was re-reviewed under Executive Order 14040 (the order that directed the release of certain 9/11-related materials). Some of it was still kept classified even after that review.

G.
Sensitive law enforcement information withheld under the “law enforcement privilege.” This typically protects investigative techniques, sources, methods, or details that could interfere with ongoing or future investigations if released.

J-1.
Information protected under Section 102A(i)(1) of the National Security Act of 1947 (as amended). This section allows the Director of National Intelligence to protect intelligence sources and methods from unauthorized disclosure. In practice, it is used to withhold material that could reveal how intelligence was collected or who provided it.

In short:

The redacted portions involving the Islamic Society of Tulsa / Al-Suwaidan material were withheld because they involve still-classified information (A), sensitive law-enforcement details (G), and/or intelligence sources and methods (J-1). See photo of reduction key.

Look who landed at the Kaiser-backed Tulsa Flyer…

CAIR supporting former Mayor Rodger Randle is on their board. And, longtime liberal columnist Ginnie Graham is now a senior reporter.

Same old progressive network. New nonprofit letterhead.

The Oklahoman newspaper claims the Muslim Brotherhood renounced violence decades ago… but somehow forgot to post this to X today.

Funny thing is...

In 2009, the Brotherhood’s spiritual guide Yusuf al-Qaradawi publicly endorsed “martyrdom” operations against Israeli civilians and prayed for Allah to “kill them down to the very last one.”

Three years later, the Brotherhood’s candidate Mohamed Morsi became president of Egypt following the sometimes violent Arab Spring uprising. But, the military ousted him in 2013. Egypt then banned the group as a terrorist organization and locked up its top leader, Mohammed Badie — who’s still in prison today.

Leaders renounced violence decades ago? Not really.

In 2009, the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual guide Yusuf al-Qaradawi publicly endorsed “martyrdom” operations against Israeli civilians and prayed for God to “kill them down to the very last one.”

Just four years later, after the Brotherhood’s candidate Mohamed Morsi became president of Egypt, the military ousted him in 2013. Egypt then banned the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group and imprisoned its top leader, Mohammed Badie — who remains in prison to this day.

Alright Tulsa, early voting for City Council starts Aug 20–22. Here's a quick rundown:

Fire these three incumbents:
• D1 – Vanessa Hall-Harper
• D3 – Jackie Dutton
• D7 – Lori Decter Wright

Decter Wright has taken Kaiser campaign money, registered as a Republican to "mitigate harm," a dishonest use of a party. Texting with the council libs bashing a Tulsan while she spoke before council, an abhorrent hostile action. She has a clear progressive agenda topped off with an elitist attitude.

Did you know the Tulsa budget has risen 54% since 2022? Fact is the councilors usually vote as a block to keep spending and its massive growth shows it.

Looking solid:
• D2 – Anthony Archie
• D5 – Karen Gilbert

A couple of the unopposed seats (Laura Bellis in D4 and Phil Lakin in D8) have strong George Kaiser ties. Bellis should be fired but there's no option. George Kaiser via Lakin's seat has been on the council 15 years.

District 9 is wide open. Both Ben Johnson and Shawn Tiemann oppose Flock cameras… which only helps the criminals. No clear conservative in the race. Looking like the leftists on the council could gain a seat.

And this is where the Tulsa County Republican Party keeps falling short...failing Tulsa. Nonpartisan races or not, they keep leaving seats uncontested or without a real conservative option while progressive-aligned money and influence fill the vacuum. Same pattern, cycle after cycle.

Election Day is Aug 25. Runoff if needed is Nov 3.

Nothing says “Daughters of the American Revolution” quite like their 2024 museum talk on “Female Husbands: A Trans History.” A talk that emerge after DAR quietly decided to allow biological male trans into the woman's organization in 2023.

Because when you think of preserving the legacy of the "women" who helped birth a nation, the first thing that comes to mind is definitely retroactively gendering 18th-century cross-dressers as trans icons.

Peak historical fidelity. Bravo, DAR.
