It’s the final week to cast an early ballot. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. If you have an absentee ballot at home, make sure you get that back in the mail today or drop it off this week at the courthouse.

Tomorrow is the last day to request a mailed ballot for the 2026 Primary Election. Complete and return a paper application to your County Clerk or visit NMVote.org to submit a request online.

🚨Remember🚨 Mailed ballots must be received by your County Clerk by 7:00 pm on June 2nd. Return your completed mailed ballot to a polling location, using a secure drop box, by mail or in-person at your County Clerk's Office.

Create a login filing in all required information.
Registrants will subsequently receive a confirmation email to confirm credentials.

PRESS RELEASE – QUAY COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE
April 20, 2026

The County Clerk will begin certification of the voting machines to be used during the 2026 Primary Election on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Commission Chambers of the Quay County Courthouse. The certification will continue throughout the week until all machines have been certified. The certification is open to the public

Absentee Ballot Applications for the 2026 Primary Election are now available at the County Clerk’s Office and online at www.NMVote.org.

Sample Ballots will be available Monday, May 4, 2026 in the County Clerk’s Office and online at www.NMVote.org.

Early and Absentee Voting begins on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 30th, early voting is available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is the last day to vote early.

Election Worker Public School of Instruction is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Quay County Fairgrounds, located at 2400 Camino Del Coronado. The public is welcome to attend.
