One Line Pitch: Infinurja designs, produces, and sells patent-pending products that use organic waste and natural biological processes to generate continuous electricity to power homes. Problem: Seventy nine percent of people in third world countries have no access to electricity, instead relying on wood or coal for energy. These methods are inefficient and harmful to humans and the environment. R

enewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, are more efficient and less detrimental to human health but are too expensive (~$10,000) for this population. Market: In phase one, we are targeting India where 400 million people lack electricity. Coal is the main power source in India and the government is subsidizing alternative energy methods. The economy is expanding and the demand for electricity is going unmet. The market for affordable and renewable energy has limited competition and is ripe for innovation. Our beachhead market is Hingoli, a town of one million people, where customer surveys indicate a 90% interest in our products. Developing countries and the United States market will be targeted in later phases. Product: Our product, PwrTank™, integrates into septic tanks or compost bins and generates up to 131 W/m3. The PwrTank™ (avg. size 3x3x3m) produces 3.5 kilowatts, enough to power an average Indian household. PwrTank installation is a one-time cost of $500 or a monthly fee of $20 for 36 months.
