As a School Board member, I will use student data to determine which programs are working, where improvement is needed and how our resources can be used most effectively.

But behind every statistic is an individual child—and a dedicated teacher asking, “What can I do to help this student succeed?”

I will support responsible, data-driven decisions while making sure our teachers have the tools, resources and support they need to help every student reach their full potential.

• I’m still out door knocking today, talking with Troy residents and listening to what matters most to our families — but I have to admit, I’m walking on a little bit of a cloud today. ❤️🏈
• Our nephew Tommy Doman has officially made the Buffalo Bills.
• Our family has watched his journey through four years at the University of Michigan, including a National Championship, then a year at Florida, and now this incredible next chapter in the NFL.
• Tommy, we are so incredibly proud of your hard work, perseverance, and determination.
• So yes, the campaign continues and I’ll keep knocking doors — but today there may be an extra-big smile when you answer yours. 😊

What a fun day on the campaign trail! 🎉

Even during a busy day of campaigning, we always make time to celebrate the wonderful people who give their time and energy to our campaign.

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating one of our amazing volunteers on her birthday! 🎂🥳 Happy Birthday, and thank you for everything you do. We are so grateful to have you on our team!

I am incredibly thankful to these Troy School Board members for taking the time to meet with me, answer my questions, and openly share some of the challenges currently facing our schools.

Our conversation gave me an even greater appreciation for the important work of the School Board and the responsibility that comes with serving our students, teachers, families, and taxpayers.

It was also encouraging to discuss how my more than 40 years of experience in nursing, leadership, education, problem-solving, and working with people from all backgrounds could help this already amazing school district continue moving forward.

I am grateful for their time, honesty, guidance, and support. I look forward to continuing to listen, learn, and work hard to earn the trust of the Troy community.
