๐จ Prom Season Safety Awareness ๐จ
Today, Tripoli School in coordination with Tripoli Fire Department , Tripoli Ambulance, Tripoli Police Department, Bremer County Sheriff's Office, Iowa State Patrol, Tieskoetter Collision Center, Bremer County Attorneyโs Office, and Bremer County Emergency Management , conducted a mock accident scenario for students as part of prom season safety education.
This realistic demonstration, made possible with the help of a few volunteer students and supportive parents, showed firsthand the realโlife consequences of impaired and distracted driving. After the scenario, students heard directly from emergency responders and local officials about how one poor decision behind the wheel can change โ or end โ lives in seconds.
Events like this arenโt meant to scare, but to educate, prepare, and protect our kids as they celebrate important milestones. We are grateful for the collaboration between agencies and the commitment to keeping our students and community safe.
๐ Prom should be remembered for the right reasons. Make the plan. Make the call. Make it home safely.
๐ Thank You! ๐
