Making Gibson County Safer ❤️

The Gibson County Opioid Abatement Council is proud to partner with our local communities to put opioid settlement dollars to work in ways that can save lives. All the buildings on the Gibson County Fairgrounds now have these AED machine.

AEDs like this one are being placed in public buildings throughout Gibson County, helping ensure lifesaving equipment is available when seconds matter.

We appreciate the hard work of our cities, county officials, and community partners who have helped get these machines installed and ready for use.

This is what opioid abatement funding should be about—investing settlement dollars back into our communities, protecting lives, and making Gibson County a safer place to live, work, and raise a family.

We’re proud of the progress and thankful to everyone who has helped make it happen.

The Milan Prevention Coalition serves all of Gibson County. The Coalition seeks to prevent and eradicate the unlawful use of drugs and alcohol within our county communities. We encourage all through education in right decision making, believing that abstinence enables a better tomorrow. We promote a loving, caring atmosphere for all as we strive to make Gibson County safe and the best in the nation. We foster those who are committed to their families, values, employment, country, and God. We will encourage those who are weak and cheer for those who are strong in the battle of addiction.

Last fall the Gibson County Op**te Abatement Council provided jumbotron screens for the gymnasiums of all six high schools in the county. We are proud to partner with them and the Milan Prevention Coalition in the prevention of drug and alcohol use by sharing their advertisements during events held in the gymnasium.
