Make some quick calls to help ensure the establishment doesn't take power out of the people's hands!

🚨 THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN. LANSING MUST LISTEN. 🚨

The People's Coalition supports giving voters a direct voice in choosing candidates for Attorney General and Secretary of State through primary elections.

But we strongly oppose efforts to eliminate elected university governing boards and replace them with political appointments.

Michigan's universities belong to the people—not politicians. Elected boards ensure accountability, transparency, and independence. Appointed boards concentrate power and open the door to political interference in our public colleges and universities.

We're especially concerned that this proposal comes just weeks after grassroots delegates and activists won key university board nominations at the Michigan Democratic Party Convention. To many, this looks like an attempt by special interests and disgruntled insiders to change the rules after they didn't like the outcome.

That's not democracy.

If politicians can eliminate elected positions because they don't like who won, every voter should be concerned.

Tell them:
✅ Support voter participation.
❌ Oppose replacing elected university boards with political appointments.

The crypto industry has spent millions buying politicians. Now they are ready to cash in on Congress.

Both parties are bought. The Crypto lobby has made sure of that.

The CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633) would hand the crypto industry a license to steal; looser rules, less oversight, more room to run the same scams that have already cost everyday people billions.

It could hit the Senate floor as soon as TODAY. And they're counting on enough Democrats to cross the aisle and give it a bipartisan veneer.

The crypto industry spent $10 million to help elect Elissa Slotkin in 2024, and she has an "A - Strongly Supports Crypto" grade from the Crypto Industry's own scorecard.

Let them know this is unacceptable!

The House of Representatives is trying to fuse the U.S. military with a certain foreign military currently under investigation for war crimes. You know the one.

It's in the middle east. The one committing the word that gets you shadow-banned on this platform. The one we subsidize with our tax dollars so they can have free education, healthcare, and endless supplies of bombs.

Yeah that one.

By sneaking a provision into the 2027 Defense Authorization Act they're hoping you won't notice.

Section 224 of the House FY2027 NDAA would merge our nation's defense sectors more deeply than we have with any NATO ally; joint AI, autonomous weapons, cyber operations, and direct data sharing between militaries.

That means U.S. military intelligence could become their military intelligence. Paid for by us. Accountable to no one.

Don't let them sneak this past you. Call your rep. Demand they oppose Section 224.

Let them know you're watching.

On June 14th, Trump is hosting a UFC event on the White House lawn, so his buddy (and donor) Dana White, UFC's billionaire owner, gets a prime time marketing bonanza plastered across the people's house.

UFC says they're covering the venue cost, but certainly taxpayers will foot the bill for security and other non-production expenses.

That's your money, for a billionaire's commercial.

✊ While that circus plays out, the rest of us will be doing something worth our time.
