2. What do I need to bring to a Notary Public? .
Identification: the signer(s) MUST be present at the time of signing and notarizing the document. . The "Signer" of the document: The signer(s) must provide valid Identification to prove their identity.
3. What Identification Cards (ID) are Acceptable? US Passport .Foreign passport, endorsed by USCIS . CA Driver’s License, ID or Senior ID issued by CA DMV (It must be current or issued in the last 5 years) . Other state driver’s license or ID(It must be current or issued in the last 5 years) .Mexico or Canada Driver’s License . CA State employee ID card . Employee ID from any city/county within CA . US military ID (only if it includes signature) . Inmate ID issued by California Department of Corrections
4. How much to Notarize a Document?
$10 Per Notarized Signature. Remember that per signature means per signer, per document. So three signers on the same document is three signatures, and it is NOT how many times the notary is required to sign or stamp.
