They're among the first wave of the 1,500 44th IBCT Soldiers who deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve to return home. This was the largest deployment of The New Jersey National Guard Soldiers since 2008.

| Last week, Army Futures Command hosted the Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMI-F) Summit 2024.

In a collaboration with the Bush Combat Development Center and Texas A&M, the 2024 HMI-F Summit showcased various Army technologies via demonstrations and static displays. The Summit informed industry, academia, and government partners of where the Army stands with HMI-F capabilities; and explored how partners can accelerate and reduce cost in prototype development.
