Making my way around the District again this weekend! Thank you to the Anthony Wayne Area Democratic Club for inviting me to speak at their monthly meeting. It’s always a pleasure connecting with such a dedicated group and hearing what’s on your minds.

On Saturday, we rolled up our sleeves and volunteered on the food line at the Toledo Greek-American Festival — great food, great music, and even better conversations. 🇬🇷

We wrapped up the long weekend at the Williams County Fair, talking with folks about the issues that matter most to them and their families. Always great to connect with fellow candidate Dave Swanson for Ohio House.

Grateful for the conversations, the community, and the opportunity to keep listening and working across the district.

We packed a lot in this past week — We kicked things off at the Fulton County Fair, where we had the opportunity to connect with Dave Swanson for Ohio House and other local candidates. On the way back, we made stops in , Ohio, to install campaign signs. A special thank you to the Higgins family…… In County, the Duhart campaign was well represented at the grand opening of the Huron County Democratic Party HQ and the Sandusky County Democratic Party Canvassing Event in , Ohio.

We wrapped up the weekend at the Toledo Labor Day Parade, celebrating the workers and families who keep our communities moving forward. We walked with UAW and got a chance to connect with David Pepper candidate for Lieutenant Governor.

After the parade, we kept the momentum going with stops at Toledo Pickleball - Sheet Metal Workers' Local 33 and then to Teamsters Local 20 Labor Jam. We finished the day with Laborers Local 500 parking lot party. Long weekend….. but one filled with conversations, connections, and community!

Another busy weekend of events in the District. On Saturday, the campaign attended the Perkins Township Community Day Strickfaden Park - Perkins Township…. Then off to the German American Festival to enjoy all things Swiss and German - food, music and culture!

On Sunday afternoon I had a fantastic time attending a meet and greet hosted by Ginny and Scott Stewart at their lovely home in , Ohio.

Today I had the pleasure of volunteering to serve lunch to fellow at the Sandusky County Fair. Thank you to Clyde VFW post 3343 for the invitation and your service in support of veterans.

Along with Mayor Danny Sanchez and Councilman Chris Liebold, it was also an honor to participate in the The City of Fremont Ohio proclamation and recognition of - Alice Marie Miller, 105 years old, as the oldest living female veteran in the State of Ohio, along with her sister, Betty Miller, 103 years old, a retired school teacher who dedicated her life to education and inspiring students. Several members from the press, Ohio Women Veterans Advisory, and community leaders were in attendance. It was truly inspiring to learn about Alice Marie Miller’s story and service as a combat nurse in WWII aboard the USS Solace AH 5 (hospital vessel).

Finally, I am grateful to my friends in Labor who came out to support our “meet and greet” this week - thank you!
