For Kelleigh and Jake, there was never really another option. Block Island has been woven into their story for years—Jake spent every summer here growing up, and Kelleigh has been part of the tradition for nearly a decade. It was only fitting that they would gather their favorite people in this magical place to begin their next chapter.
What they didn’t plan for? An unprecedented spring storm with 30–50 mph winds, chilly temperatures, and weather that had everyone wondering what the day might bring.
But if there was one thing this wedding proved, it’s that the best celebrations aren’t defined by perfect conditions. They’re defined by the people in the room.
Friends and family traveled from Virginia and across the country to be there, and Kelleigh and Jake never lost sight of what mattered most. The result was a joyful garden party filled with beautiful spring florals, nonstop dancing, heartfelt moments, a tiramisu cake tucked inside a purse (iconic), and an after-party at the Litter Box that no one wanted to leave.
Wind, rain, cold, and all—it was perfectly, unmistakably them. 🤍
