We appreciate Level Up’s support of our firefighters.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Level Up for their generous donation of a PS4 to our union.

With around 4,000 calls a year, downtime for our members is few and far between. When those moments do come, having something to bring our members together builds camaraderie and helps us decompress. Things like this make a real impact on our mental health.

As a small token of our appreciation, Level Up will have a complimentary advertising sign at our union golf scramble this fall.

We're grateful for community partners like
Level Up who support us both on and off the job. If you're into gaming, go check them out and support a business that supports its firefighters.

Special thanks to Brandon Biller, Store Manager, for recognizing the value of entertainment in supporting mental health in our profession.

Groundbreaking Deal for Tiffin Firefighters: New contract delivers 24/72 work schedule.

The City of Tiffin Administration and Fire Department Leadership have proven they value firefighter safety by agreeing to a schedule change from 24/48 to 24/72. Tiffin Firefighters most recent collective bargaining agreement with the City of Tiffin provides a long awaited relief to the demands of fire based ems.

This new 4 crew model allows for;

-Better work-life balance

-Improved morale, retention, and recruitment

-More recovery time — physical, mental, emotional

This move requires financial buy in and increased staffing. This achievement is a testament to the new administration’s willingness to make firefighter’s health and safety a priority.

It is truly remarkable and worth noting that this agreement was reached without mitigation. Proving what can be accomplished with direct communication and mutual respect. The Union’s negotiations committee collaborated with the City Administration and our union body wishes to express our gratitude for their advocacy and commend them on their good faith negotiating.

For those of you who value time with your families and a consistent chance at recovery from a busy shift, Tiffin Firefighters encourage you to apply.

Friendly Reminder!
The deadline to submit applications for the Tiffin Firefighters Local 322 Toy Project is this Friday at 3:00 PM.

To qualify:
• Residency: Child and parent/guardian must live within the official city limits of Tiffin.
• Age: Children must be 10 years old or younger at the time of application.
• Exclusivity: Applicants cannot apply to or receive assistance from any other local toy drives.

Applications can be picked up and dropped off at:
Station 1 – 53 South Monroe St. Tiffin OH

Make sure everything is filled out and turned in before the deadline. Let’s help make the holidays brighter for local kids! 🎁
