Records have not yet been found indicating when the Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce was first established; however, we do have bylaws dating back to 1976. On February 19 1988, the Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce was renamed, becoming the Three Lakes Information Bureau, Inc. In June of 2007, the name of the organization was once again changed, to the name used today, the Three Lakes Area Chamber of

Commerce & Welcome Center Inc. Although a lot has changed in twenty years, the goals of the organization remain similar. A copy of the 1987 bylaws state, “The Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the recreational, commercial, industrial and civic interests of Three Lakes and its trade area.”
