“All politics is local” is a reminder that although Washington, D.C. and Austin politics is what make the most noise on TV—it is the LOCAL elections that have the biggest impact on our lives. City councils and school boards make decisions every month that impact our local quality of life.
Denton Together has defined “LOCAL” for years as DENTON COUNTY. We are one of the fastest-growing and most sophisticated counties in Texas and in America. We have an opportunity to elect a Mayor who is guided by the principles of compassion, empathy, and integrity and who uses both data and experience to make decisions and lead.
We are directly asking you for your help today as we support Dr. Beck in his runoff election June 13. His opponent has been on council for much of the last 20 years and is more interested in pleasing his highest bidders than the people of Denton.
