All of us associated with Tewksbury Home Build were terribly saddened to learn about the passing of Don Maclaren. He and his family have been generous supporters of all of our efforts, whether it was through direct support of our builds, sponsoring our Harlem Wizards games, or hosting our co****le tournaments. Don was a tremendous member of our community, and he will be sorely missed.

The photos here just express a touch of the impact Don had on our work. More important than all of the ways he supported us and many other groups in town, is the wonderful person he was.

On behalf of all of our members and our Board of Directors, we offer our prayers to the Maclaren family and all that knew him.

THB has been Bringing Tewksbury Home since 2015, including 4 single family homes completed, another project underway, 2 more in the pipeline, and a partnership with Soldier On for Veteran's Housing on Main Street.

Our Board of Directors has been working hard for almost 10 years, and some are ready to step away for new members with new ideas, and new energy.

We are looking for interested residents to step forward and join the Board and our mission of bringing Affordable Housing to Tewksbury.

This Wednesday night (6/28), Tewksbury Home Build will have its 2023 Annual Meeting in the small meeting room on the 1st floor of Town Hall. THB has successfully brought 4 single family affordable homes to Tewksbury, has partnered with Soldier On to bring a Veterans' Home to Main Street, and will be starting our 5th home this Fall.
We are always looking for volunteers to help support this work. We are particularly interested in volunteers and potential board members with experience in Project Management, Procurement, Logistics, Public Relations, Construction Management, and other related areas.
