💧 VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE 💧

Due to the serious drought conditions affecting North Carolina, the Town of Taylorsville is requesting that all water customers enter Stage 1 (Voluntary Conservation) per Town Ordinance 53.02.

We are asking everyone to help us reach a 5% reduction in water usage by following these simple steps:

🏡 Outdoor Use:

Limit lawn and landscape watering to a maximum of 2 times per week (or 1 inch total).
Use spring-loaded nozzles on hoses and avoid washing vehicles.
Prevent water runoff onto sidewalks or streets.

🏠 Indoor Use:

Only run full loads of laundry and dishes.
Check for and repair any leaks in faucets or toilets.
Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving.
Consider installing water-saving showerheads.

🚫 Pools: Please refrain from filling swimming or wading pools at this time.

Every drop counts! Thank you for doing your part to protect our local water supply.

Questions? Feel free to contact Town Hall.
