Today was the big day we turned in our petition at 4:46pm!

We would like to say THANK YOU to the more than 1️⃣8️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ people who signed the petition, to let Taylor decide. 💚 It is clear there is a LOT of support in our community for this effort and we could not have done it without y’all...seriously!

John and I had NO idea what we got ourselves into 60 days ago when we started our journey to 1683 signatures.

We looked around and said ok, who can help!? We locked arms with friends, neighbors, and strangers. We met with mentors and community leaders, attended multiple events, spoke at luncheons, bought some signs, made some shirts, knocked on a LOT of doors, and spoke to anyone who would listen about the businesses right to choose what they can and can’t serve in Taylor. It was hard, not gonna lie. But I can say without a doubt, we all worked as hard as we knew how.

💚Thank you to everyone who volunteered and put in the hours to help make this happen, it’s truly been a humbling experience.
